Door County Half Marathon

The Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k take place in Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek, Wisconsin. The half marathon is run on a closed, USATF-certified road course that begins and ends near Nicolet Bay Beach and routes through woods and lakeside sections of the park. The course includes shaded sections, hills, and repeated views of Lake Michigan.

The Nicolet Bay 5k follows an out and back route toward the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and uses the same finish line as the half marathon. The half marathon field is capped at 2,000 participants. The half marathon course is supported by eight aid stations and full course support. Packet pickup is available at Baileys Harbor Town Hall and at the Nicolet Bay race concourse inside Peninsula State Park. Parking within the park is limited on race day.

Standard race inclusions for the half marathon are a long-sleeve tech race shirt, finisher’s medal, age group medals and division awards, a post-race beverage and live music, and a virtual bag with sponsor materials. The Nicolet Bay 5k includes a short-sleeve tech shirt, age group medals, and post-race beverage and music. The event offers a charity option where runners who raise a specified amount for a Door County charity can receive free registration. Refunds are not offered; transfers and bib reassignment follow the event’s stated policies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
