Door County Half Marathon
The Door County Half Marathon is scheduled for May 1, 2027 and takes place in Peninsula State Park in Door County, Wisconsin. The event uses an entirely closed, USATF certified road course and begins and ends a few strides from Nicolet Bay Beach. The half marathon field is capped at 2,000 participants.
Two race distances are offered:
- Half Marathon
- Nicolet Bay 5k
Half marathon registration includes a long sleeve tech race shirt, a finisher's medal, eight aid stations and full course support, age group medals and division awards, and access to a post race party with a beer or beverage and live music. The Nicolet Bay 5k includes a short sleeve tech race shirt, age group medals and division awards, and the same post race party access.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race. Registration opens September 1. The event emphasizes course support and on site amenities for runners and spectators, and the 5k finishes at the same finish line as the half marathon.
