Heroes with Heart 5K - McAllen
South Texas Health System Heart presents the Heroes with Heart 5K on February 28, 2026, in McAllen, Texas. The event marks American Heart Month and promotes heart health while raising funds for Goodwill. All proceeds will benefit a local charity.

Early registration deadline for a guaranteed T-shirt is January 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM; the early 5K fee is $25 and includes a T-shirt, bib, and medal. Late registration after that deadline increases to $35. Fees for specific categories are listed as $10 for kids, $15 for seniors (55+), and $20 for staff.
Male and female age group awards are given for 1st through 3rd place in the 5K across these age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, and 65+. Participants must abide by all traffic laws.
