Event Overview

The Weslaco Band Boosters event, also known as the Sweetheart Strut, is a fundraiser on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The event takes place at the Harlon Block Sports Complex in Weslaco, Texas. All proceeds support band students through senior scholarships and help cover transportation costs for students to perform in the Magic Kingdom Parade in June 2026.

Events and Registration

The event includes two races:

A 5K run/walk with a registration fee of $25, increasing to $30 on January 1, 2026.
A 1 Mile Fun Run with a registration fee of $15. This event is not timed and includes a shirt and a finisher medal.

Registration for both events ends on February 14, 2026.

Additional Details

The deadline to order a shirt is Sunday, January 30, 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Weslaco High School Band Hall on 1005 W. Pike Blvd in Weslaco. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
