Dobie Dash
Dobie Dash is a community running event held on October 17, 2026 at Brown Middle School, 2700 S Ware Rd, McAllen, TX 78503. The event supports the BMS Athletic Department and student athletes in the school community.
The event includes multiple race entries and participant items:
- 5K (3.1 miles): bib, dri fit shirt, finisher medal, age group awards male and female.
- 1K: finisher medal only.
- 1K with shirt: separate registration option.
Registration fees listed for event entries include a $25 fee for the 5K, a $10 fee for the basic 1K, and a $20 fee for the 1K with shirt option. The T shirt deadline for entries that include shirts is September 25, 2026.
Packet pick up is scheduled at Brown Middle School on the south side of the building with a time window from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on a date to be determined.
