Herencia Latina 5K - Lafayette, IN
Herencia Latina 5K takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Munger Park, 3505 Greenbush St, Lafayette, IN 47905. The event is intended for the whole family; runners and walkers are welcome. The course runs through Munger Park and is described as scenic.
The event will be chip timed. A commemorative event shirt is included for participants who register by Tuesday, September 1st by noon; extra shirts may be available afterward while supplies last. Online registration remains open until Friday, September 11th at 3:00 PM. Early packet pick-up and registration by check or cash only is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, location to be determined.
Entry fees for the 5K run/walk are $35 before race day and $40 on race day. Awards include special prizes for first, second and third place male and female finishers overall. Additional awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers in these age groups: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60 and over.
Parking near the start and finish is limited. Alternative parking options mentioned are Eastway Plaza and Automotive Solutions, both a short walk from the event area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
