Herencia Latina 5K
Herencia Latina is a 5K run/walk held in Munger Park in Lafayette, Indiana on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The course runs through Munger Park and is described as scenic. The event uses chip timing and provides a commemorative event shirt for participants who register by Tuesday, September 1st to guarantee a shirt; extra shirts may be available afterward while supplies last.
Entry fees are listed as $35 before race day and $40 on race day. Online registration is available through Friday, September 11th at 3:00 PM. Registration and check-in occur on race day before the event.
Awards include special prizes for first, second and third overall male and female finishers, plus awards for top male and top female in these age groups: 19 and under; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; and 60 and over. Awards and refreshments are provided after the event.
Parking near the start and finish is limited. Participants are encouraged to consider carpooling. Additional parking is available a short walk away at Eastway Plaza and Automotive Solutions.
