Purdue Boilermaker Half-Marathon & 5K
The Purdue Boilermaker Half-Marathon & 5K takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, outside Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette. The event includes two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K Run/Walk
The half-marathon course passes through multiple areas of the Purdue University campus, uses the paved bike trail system along the western outskirts of campus, and travels through the Celery Bog Nature Area. The 5K route remains on the Purdue University campus.
The event typically draws a field of more than 5,000 competitors. Purdue students and active or retired military members receive a $5.00 discount on entry. Runners who pre-register by Thursday, October 15 receive a soft-style unisex shirt, with sizing possibly limited after that date. All finishers receive a finisher medal, and the event offers overall and age-group awards.
