On Fire For Our Fighters 5K - Lafayette, IN
The 3rd Annual On Fire For Our Fighters 5K benefits the Lafayette Fire Support Foundation and is presented as a family event. Runners and walkers are welcome. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, and centers on Lafayette Fire Department Station #5 and McCaw Park.
The course incorporates Munger Trail, Munger Park and McCaw Park. Participants receive a commemorative event shirt and a medal.
Entry fees are listed as $30 before race day and $40 on race day. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by Friday, September 11 at noon; extra shirts may be available while supplies last. Early packet pick up is available on Friday, September 18 at Lafayette Fire Department Headquarters at 20 N. 6th St, Lafayette, IN.
Awards are planned for first place male and first place female overall, and first place males and females in these age groups: 19 and under; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; and 70 and over.
