Course, logistics and awards
The course starts and ends at Riverfront Park off Sophia Street and runs along the Rappahannock River, through downtown Fredericksburg, and along the Heritage Trail and Canal Path. The course is USATF certified. Packet pickup is scheduled the week before the race at Heppe Chiropractic (619 Emancipation Hwy) and at SWEAT FXBG (3453 Fall Hill Ave).
All proceeds for the event this year go to the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank. The race offers custom shirts and a unique finisher commemorative item. Awards include top 3 male and top 3 female overall finishers and age-group awards for the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in each age group.
