Heppe Chiropractic 15K & 5K
The Heppe Chiropractic 15K and 5K is an annual running event held in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The race serves as a fundraiser where all proceeds are donated to the Fairy Godmother Project, an organization that supports families navigating pediatric cancer. The event features two distinct distances for participants:
- 15K run for participants aged 10 years or older.
- 5K run for participants aged 5 years or older.
The course is USATF certified and takes runners through several scenic areas of the city. The route passes along the Rappahannock River, through the historic streets of downtown Fredericksburg, and utilizes the Heritage Trail and Canal Path. Participants begin and end their run at Riverfront Park located off Sophia Street.
The event provides custom shirts and unique commemorative items for finishers. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers in both the 15K and 5K categories. Additionally, male and female runners who place in the top three of their respective age groups receive awards.
The race site offers ample parking for attendees. Currently, pets are not permitted on the course during the event.
