Event overview

Hensley Off Road Races is scheduled for early February 2026 in Raymond, California at Hensley Lake - Buck Ridge Recreation Area. The program includes a trail run and multiple mountain bike events, offered as the following distances and formats:

10 km run
10 km run & ride (1 lap)
~15 miles MTB Category A (3 laps)
~10 miles MTB Category B (2 laps)
~5 miles MTB Category C (1 lap)
1 lap Juniors MTB race
Kids ride

Some MTB categories list approximate mileages per lap. MTB categories A, B and C are open to ages 12 to 99. The Juniors race is open to ages 17 and under; the Kids Ride is open to ages 12 and under.

Logistics and race rules

Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet Sports Fresno and on race day at the Buck Ridge Recreation Area. There is no race day registration. The park charges a day-use parking fee at the main gate; the kiosk accepts credit cards and the America the Beautiful pass is accepted. Course marking will use directional signs and orange ribbon. The 10k course has no aid station, so participants should carry water. MTB race numbers must be attached to the front of handlebars with the number facing out; failure to attach numbers correctly may prevent recording of results. Awards are given for 10k overall and age groups, and for MTB overall places by category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
