The Tesoro Viejo Spring Classic Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Madera, CA (Hwy 41 and Tesoro Viejo Blvd, 93636). The event includes the following distances:

Registration options include in-person and virtual entries. Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, March 7 at Fleet Feet Fresno, 9447 N Fort Washington Rd (corner of Fort Washington and Friant). The event is held rain or shine. Dogs are not allowed.
Course and amenities
Runners start at the main community Hub at Tesoro Viejo and follow routes that circle the community, crossing bridges and tree-lined lanes. The course is mostly unpaved trails with rolling hills; the half marathon has mild hills, the 10k has rolling hills, and the 5k is about 95 percent on paved trails and is stroller friendly. The site includes a Start/Finish Pavilion and a festival area with a beer garden, wine tasting, a live rock band, hot cinnamon rolls, and valley-grown fruits. Participants receive a gender-specific technical shirt and a custom finisher medallion. The event supports the Tesoro Viejo Conservancy, whose mission is to preserve land, protect wildlife, improve access to the San Joaquin River, and provide public education about local natural resources.
