The Tesoro Viejo Spring Classic Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, March 8, 2026 in Madera, California, near the intersection of Hwy 41 and Tesoro Viejo Blvd. The event includes multiple distances:

Course, amenities and partners
Races start and finish at the community Hub in Tesoro Viejo and follow paths around the new residential community. The course uses mostly unpaved trails with rolling hills; the half marathon has mild hills, the 10k features rolling hills, and the 5k is about 95 percent on paved trails and is stroller friendly. The community covers about 400 acres of groomed running paths, meadows and wetland areas.
Participants receive a gender-specific tech shirt and a custom finisher medallion. On-site festival features listed include a hot cinnamon roll, wine tasting, a beer garden and live music. The event supports the Tesoro Viejo Conservancy, whose mission includes land preservation, wildlife protection, improved access to the San Joaquin River and public education.
