Henry Ford Race to Health
The Henry Ford Race to Health takes place on September 13, 2026 at Cascades Park in Jackson, Michigan. The event includes several running and walking options for different ages and group formats, and proceeds support Henry Ford Health community wellness programs.
Available distances and formats:
- 5K Run - 3.1 miles
- 5K Walk - 3.1 miles
- Kids Fun Run - ages 3 to 12
- Relay Team - 4 person relay, total 2 miles, each member runs about 0.5 mile
Registration opens April 1. Early pricing is $30 until August 31, with higher fees after that and a race day fee listed in the event information. Team relay entry is $25 per member. The Kids Fun Run is free. Participants who register by August 28 are guaranteed a t-shirt in their selected size; shirts are available while supplies last for later registrations.
All 5K participants receive a finishers medal. Kids in the fun run receive a free tie dye T-shirt and a finishers medal. The event awards medals to the top three in each age group and offers prize money for top overall and master winners. Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Cascades Park and race day packet pickup is available at the start/finish area.
