Tampa Electric's Run for the Manatees
Tampa Electric's Run for the Manatees is a community 5K held at the Florida Conservation and Technology Center (FCTC) in Apollo Beach, Florida. The routed course passes by the Manatee Viewing Center and uses trails on the FCTC campus. The FCTC campus is located just south of the Manatee Viewing Center, right off Dickman Road.

- Virtual 5K completed at the participant's chosen day, time, and course
Virtual participants are not part of the in person event. Event shirts and finisher medals for virtual registrants will be mailed via USPS to US addresses the week after the race. Virtual entries are not included in chip timed results and do not require submission of results.
Each in person participant must wear a 2026 race bib distributed at pre race pick up or race morning check in. Race day registration is not available. Pets are not permitted on site and parking is limited.
Awards are presented to first place male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 plus. Proceeds from race registrations will be donated to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
