HAUNTED Salt Lake City Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Run
HAUNTED Salt Lake City takes place in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the finish and celebration at Sugarhouse Park on October 17, 2026. The event includes three distances:
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon down Emigration Canyon through Spook Alley tunnel.
- 5K out-and-back around Sugarhouse Park.
- Kids Run half-mile through Spook Alley to a finish at the park.
The Half Marathon route travels from Emigration Canyon into the park, passing a themed Spook Alley tunnel and a skeleton graveyard before the inflatable pumpkin finish arch. Aid stations are located on the Half course at Miles 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11; the 5K has an aid station at Mile 2. Electrolytes and water are provided at each station, with GU at Miles 5 and 9 on the Half.
Race logistics include a packet pick-up expo the day before the race at a to-be-announced location, bus transportation required to the Half Marathon start with pickup at Highland High School, and a bag drop available only at the Half start with pick-up at the finish. Timing chips are attached to bibs and results use chip time for age-group awards. Free event photos are provided. Pets are not allowed on the course.
