Event overview
The Runtastic HAUNTED Salt Lake City takes place on October 17, 2026, at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event includes multiple race distances and a themed course with Halloween elements such as a Spook Alley tunnel and a skeleton graveyard. The half marathon finishes at the park beneath a large inflatable pumpkin arch.

Race details and logistics
Half marathon runners travel down Emigration Canyon toward Salt Lake City. A bag drop is provided only at the half marathon start; bags are dropped at the start and retrieved at the finish. Bus transportation is provided to the half marathon start from Highland High School; there is no self-transportation to the start for that race. Expo and packet pickup are scheduled the day before the race; photo ID is required for packet pickup. Late morning pickup on race day is available for a fee.
Support and awards
Aid stations along the course supply water, electrolytes, porta-potties, and first aid. GU energy gel is available at specified half marathon stations. All races are chip timed; overall and age-group awards are presented on the awards stage. Race entries include a finisher medal, race shirt, decal, and temporary tattoo.
