HAUNTED Salt Lake City - Salt Lake City, Utah
The event features three races on October 17, 2026 at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City: a 13.1 miles Half Marathon, a 5K, and a Kids Run. The Half Marathon follows Emigration Canyon, passes through the Spook Alley tunnel and an on-course graveyard, and finishes beneath a giant inflatable pumpkin arch at Sugarhouse Park. The 5K is an out-and-back route around the park. The Kids Run covers a half mile through Spook Alley to a separate festive finish area.
Race services include multiple aid stations stocked with electrolytes, water, and GU on the Half Marathon route and at the 5K. A bag drop is provided at the Half Marathon start, with bag retrieval at the finish. Buses transport Half Marathon participants from Highland High School to the start; self-transportation to the start is not available.
Participants receive event swag including a finisher medal and a race shirt when available, and award medals are presented to top overall and age group finishers for the Half Marathon and 5K; the Kids Run also has overall awards. Timing is electronic with a chip attached to the bib. Free race day photography is provided, and a pre-race packet pickup expo is scheduled the day before the event.
