9/11 Heroes Run - Salt Lake City, Utah
The 9/11 Heroes Run in South Jordan, Utah is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at East River Front Park, 10900 S River Front Pkwy. The event honors the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since, and it aims to activate and unite communities while supporting local veterans, active duty service members, first responders, and families of the fallen.

- 5K Run
- 5K Ruck
- 1 mile Run/Walk
TMF partners with GORUCK to provide rucking divisions at this event. Rucking is described as a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Participants registered in the GORUCK division will receive that year’s exclusive TMF GORUCK patch.
Registration for the 5K run, 5K ruck, and 1 mile opens May 28, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026. Volunteer registration opens June 7, 2026 and remains open through the event date. Published registration fees are $36 for the 5K run, $41 for the 5K ruck, $21 for the 1 mile, and volunteers register at no fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
