About the race
The Hastings Half Marathon is scheduled for 21 March 2027 in Hastings, East Sussex, with the event base at West Marina Gardens, Sea Road, Saint Leonards-on-sea TN38 0BX. The event programme includes a Half Marathon, a new relay for 2027, and a children’s Claremont Mini Run. The course is on road and is described as hilly, with a downhill coastal stretch to the finish and seafront views.
The 2027 Relay splits the half marathon distance so teammates share the 13.1 miles, with one covering the uphill section and the other the coastal descent. Entries include a bespoke finisher medal, a virtual goody bag and post-race seafront celebrations. Roads are closed to support the coastal finish.
Claremont Mini Run is a point-to-point race for children aged 7 to 16 over 2 km. Start location is the upper promenade about 200 m west of Hastings Pier, opposite Moreton Mansions; the finish is the main Half Marathon finish arch on Sea Road. All mini runners receive finisher medals; children must be supervised.
Prize money is listed for top finishers, and there is a bonus for a course record. The half marathon has an on-the-day entry fee listed at £45; the relay requires pre-purchase only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
