Bexhill Remembrance Run 2026
GBR Run is reviving a multi-distance Remembrance event on Saturday November 7th 2026 at Bexhill Promenade. The event returns to the Sussex running calendar and offers several road race distances along the seafront.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- Youth Mile
The races use an out-and-back route along the seafront. The course is described as licensed and accurately measured. Organisers note that weather may affect conditions and potential times.
Prizes are available for leading runners and for age category winners in each race. A bespoke finishers medal will be presented to all finishers. A portion of each entry fee is donated to a nominated military charity; in 2025 the organisers reported donating over £1000 to the Royal British Legions Poppy Appeal.
Entry fees and age limits are listed as follows: Half Marathon £30 minimum age 17, 10k £20 minimum age 15, 3k £17 minimum age 11, Youth Mile £7.50 minimum age 6. Affiliated club runners receive a £2 discount on registration. All events are described as community friendly and suitable for a range of ages.
