The M and S Electrical Beckley 10k

The event is a community race in Beckley organised by local volunteers to raise funds for the Village Centre and for Whizz Kids, held in memory of a founding committee member. The 2026 edition is the 22nd running of the event.

Races use the lanes around the village and finish back at the Village Centre where homemade cake and beer are provided. The route runs on open roads; headphones are not permitted except bone conduction types. The 10 km is a single-lap course described as challenging, while the 5 km route splits from the main route at approximately 2 km and rejoins later. Water stations are located at about 2 km and 7 km.

Race facilities and services include chip timing, a finisher medal, a marked course, prizes for leading runners and age-category winners in the 10 km, and a junior fun run. Race HQ and registration are inside the Main Hall at Beckley Village Centre, Main Street, Beckley TN31 6RL. An unmanned baggage drop will be available on the stage near registration; this area is not monitored and participants are asked not to leave valuables. Toilets are available in the Village Centre but there are no changing facilities. Parking is on Main Street outside the Village Centre and marshals will help position vehicles to avoid blocking the route.
