The M and S Electrical Beckley 10K and 5K
The event is a community road race held in Beckley that returns for its 22nd edition in 2026. It is organised by local volunteers to raise funds for the Village Centre and for Whizz Kids in memory of a founding committee member.
The race headquarters is Beckley Village Centre on Main Street TN31 6RL. Race registration takes place inside the Main Hall. Parking is available on Main Street outside the Village Centre and marshals will position vehicles to avoid blocking the race route.
The routes use open roads through rural lanes. Headphones are not permitted except for bone conduction types. The 10K follows a single lap of the lanes while the 5K runners split from the 10K route at about 2 km and rejoin later. Water stations are located at approximately 2 km and 7 km.
Facilities and race services include chip timing, finisher medals, a marked course, and prizes for leading runners and age category winners in the 10K. Finish refreshments include homemade cake and beer. There is an unmanned baggage drop on the stage near registration; participants are advised not to leave valuables. Toilets are available within the Village Centre but there are no changing facilities. The event also offers a junior fun run and affiliated and unaffiliated entry options.
