The main half marathon course is known for its hills and finishes along the seafront. The race is organised by the Hastings Lions & Rotary Club. The event includes on-course entertainment and cheer stations, and roads are closed for the event. It won the Midsized Event of the Year award at the 2025 Running Industry Awards.

The Claremont Mini Run starts after the main race on the upper promenade near Hastings Pier and finishes at the main half marathon finish line on Sea Road. Only junior participants receive medals for this event.

Participant Information

The half marathon offers prize money, including £500 for first-place male and female finishers and a £1,000 bonus for breaking the course record. The event raises money for local good causes.
