Forkland Festival Fox and Hound 4K
The Forkland Festival Fox and Hound 4K takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Gravel Switch, Kentucky, at 16479 Forkland Rd. The event is a trail run through the Forkland community and its surrounding countryside.
The 4K course begins with a quarter mile uphill section, then crosses open meadows and woodland trails, and finishes with a downhill run to the finish line. Because of the terrain, finish times on this course may be closer to typical 5K times on a more level course.
Entry fee is listed as $25. Registration closes October 8, 2026, and to be assured a 2026 T shirt participants are asked to register by October 1, 2026. Registration includes a ticket to the Forkland Festival pancake breakfast and a T shirt; vintage T shirts will also be available.
Unique handmade awards will be presented at the pancake breakfast in the shelter behind the Community Center. The festival setting includes crafts and music, and the event description notes that participants may also walk through the countryside with friends instead of running.
