Event Overview

The Harmony Energy Run Harrogate 10K is a multi-terrain race set in the Crimple Valley area of Harrogate. The race covers a distance of 10 km.

Course Details

The route is scenic and varied, with approximately 70% on closed roads and the remainder on well-surfaced footpaths. The course is gently undulating and consists of a single lap. It is not suitable for wheelchairs, buggies, or dogs.

Facilities and Information

Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets, and a baggage store. There are no changing facilities or showers. The Race HQ is the Harrogate Sports & Fitness Club.

A cut-off time of 1 hour 45 minutes is in place. Runners predicted to finish slower than this at the halfway point may be asked to withdraw. The minimum age for participants is 15. In line with UKA rules, the wearing of headphones or similar devices is not permitted.

Entry and Prizes

Entry fees are £22.00 for unaffiliated runners and £20.00 for UK Athletics affiliated members. If the event does not sell out, on-the-day entry may be available for an additional £2.00 fee. All finishers receive a medal and finish-line goodies. Prizes are awarded for the top three finishers in Female and Open categories, the first finisher in each 5-year age group, and for EA-affiliated club teams.
