Event overview

The Run Harrogate 10K takes place in Harrogate, North Yorkshire on 28 June 2026. The race is organised by Harrogate Harriers & AC and covers 10 kilometres on a multi-terrain route in the Crimple Valley area. The course is described as undulating and is approximately 70% tarmac with the remainder on good footpaths. The event has an entry limit of 1,000 runners.

All entries are non-refundable. Transfers are accepted up to 15 June 2026. Minimum age on race day is 15. A cut-off time of 1 hour 45 minutes applies; runners slower than the predicted finish time at the halfway point may be asked to withdraw. The wearing of headphones or similar devices is not allowed under UKA rules.

Course, facilities and prizes

The race is one lap and is not suitable for buggies, wheelchairs or dogs. Facilities at Race HQ (Harrogate Sports & Fitness Club) include water stations, distance markers, toilets and a baggage store. There are no changing facilities or showers.

Finishers will receive event goodies, including a specially designed medal. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in female and open categories, first in each five-year age group, and team prizes for Female and Open EA affiliated clubs (first three to count). A separate Berwin's Challenge awards a £300 charity donation for selected non-EA club or corporate/personal teams (first three of any gender to count). Entry fees are £20.00 for UKA-affiliated runners and £22.00 for unaffiliated runners; on-the-day entry is available for an additional £2.00 if the event has not sold out.
