Harmony Energy Harrogate Fun Run 2026
The Harmony Energy Harrogate Fun Run is a multi-terrain running event located in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The course covers a distance of approximately 1 mile and features an undulating profile. It is designed as a traffic-free out-and-back route that begins and ends in front of the Harrogate Sports & Fitness Club clubhouse.
The event is open to children in school years 2 through 9, as well as runners in Year 10 who are under the age of 15. Participants set off on a single lap where spectators can provide support at the start and finish lines. While adults are permitted to run alongside children to provide additional support, the commemorative medals are reserved exclusively for the junior participants.
The race headquarters are situated at the Harrogate Sports & Fitness Club on Hookstone Wood Road. Facilities available at the site include toilets and baggage storage. There are no changing facilities, showers, water stations, or distance markers provided on the course. Medical support for the event is provided by AED Medical.
Registration is limited to 100 participants. If the entry limit is not reached beforehand, registration may be available on the day of the event starting at 08:00. This running event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Parents or responsible adults are required to remain present for the duration of the run to ensure the supervision and safety of the participants.
