2026 Hark the Herald Half Marathon & 10K
The event is held on December 12, 2026 at Angel Island State Park, Belvedere Tiburon, CA. The course is a hilly loop that circumnavigates Angel Island and offers panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, the East Bay and Marin County.

The event is limited to 400 participants. Race pricing includes the required ferry fee and processing. Chartered ferries depart from the Tiburon ferry dock; athletes must take this ferry to reach the race. Spectator ferry fees are listed for adults, children, small children and toddlers, and a small bike fee applies.
Course cut-off time is 3.5 hours. Half Marathon runners must complete the first loop within 1 hour 30 minutes. There are no aid stations on the course; aid is available before the second loop for half marathoners. Participants are advised to carry water. Food and drink will be available at the finish.
Course markings use orange ribbon at trail crossings and turns. T-shirts are provided to all participants. Medals are awarded to all Half Marathon finishers; personalized award ribbons for top three finishers by age and gender will be mailed.
