Event overview
The Hardmoors 26.2: Farndale event is a trail race held on Sunday 9 August 2026 with a base at Hutton Le Hole Village Hall (YO62 6UA). Time limits are published for each course: 9 hours for the marathon, 6 hours for the half marathon and 4 hours for the 10k. Courses are not fully taped or signed; competitors are provided with downloadable route descriptions, maps and GPX files and must navigate themselves.
Logistics and rules
Parking is marshalled in a field in the centre of Hutton-le-Hole; day parking is charged and parking on the main road or side streets is prohibited. Camper van and caravan parking is available by prebooking; facilities include a fresh water tap and elsan waste disposal but no showers. Registration includes a kit check and mandatory items must be carried for the duration of the event. Failure to carry required kit will result in disqualification.
