Event overview
Thirsk 10 is a road running and wheelchair race over 10 miles, held in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The race uses a flat, fast course on partially closed roads. The course was updated for 2025 and has been formally measured by England Athletics. The event includes prize categories for the first five overall men and women, age-category prizes, and spot prizes. Entry is limited to 1,100 places; 901 places remained at the time of the listing. The race starts and finishes at Thirsk Racecourse (Station Road, Thirsk, YO7 1QL). Facilities listed include water stations, distance markers, toilets and an unmanned baggage store; there are no changing facilities or showers. A 5-mile cut-off of 75 minutes will be applied. The fun run offers an Easter egg and a medal for every child; on-the-day fun run entry is available for £3 per child.
Entry fees are: affiliated £23.00, unaffiliated £25.00. There will be no entries on the day for the main race. Entries can be edited or transferred until 6 March 2026; refunds are permitted only if applied for before 18 February 2026 and are subject to a processing charge. T-shirts are included with entry in sizes XS to XXL; requests for XXS or XXXL can be made. If a runner opts out of a T-shirt, the fee for the shirt will be donated to the event charities.
