Event Overview

The Thirsk 10 Fun Run is a 1.5-mile cross-country event taking place on Sunday, 22 March 2026 in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. It is aimed at children of all ages, and parents are welcome to run alongside them.

What Finishers Receive

Every participant who completes the course will receive an Easter egg and a medal.

Course Details

The route is a single, flat, grassy loop around Thirsk Racecourse. The surface can be bumpy in some places. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Registration & Participation

Participants must register and collect their race number at the Racecourse HQ (Thirsk Racecourse, Station Road) no later than 8:40 AM. There is a short walk from the registration point to the start line. Parents are asked to accompany children at all times.

Entry Information

The entry fee is £3.00. Entry is limited to 60 participants. If the event does not sell out in advance, entry on the day will be available at no extra cost.

Facilities

The only facility provided is toilets at the Racecourse HQ. There are no water stations, distance markers, changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store.
