A Happy New Year 5K & 10K Trail Run : Marble Falls
The event takes place on New Year’s Day at Shaffer Bend Recreation Area in Marble Falls, Texas. It offers trail running and walking on looped courses with a central start and finish area. The event is organized by Fit Foundation.

The courses run on scenic trails with rolling terrain, short climbs, and views of Lake Travis. Routes are marked with signage and arrows and supported by event crew. Parking is available inside the park near the start and finish area.
All participants must complete an online waiver before racing. Race day registrants may be asked for photo identification and can pick up bibs on-site. Trail-appropriate shoes, hydration, sunscreen, a hat, and layered clothing are recommended. Costumes and festive gear are allowed. Walkers are explicitly welcome, especially in the 5K.
Participants should watch their footing on uneven trail surfaces and follow leave no trace principles. Respect for other runners, hikers, and park visitors is requested.
