Mosaic Trail Race
Mosaic Trail Race is a multi-distance trail event held at Canyon of the Eagles LCRA Park on the north shore of Lake Buchanan in Burnet, TX. The event is scheduled for December 5, 2026 and uses a common loop with distance-specific shortcuts.

Course format and terrain: the 50K is run as three ~10.3 mile laps; the 26.2 mile distance uses four 6.55 mile laps; the 13.1 mile distance uses two 6.55 mile laps; the 10K and 5K are one lap each. Runners will encounter a mix of jeep roads and singletrack, hard-packed dirt, rocks, creek beds, bluffs, ravines, cacti, climbs, and descents typical of Texas Hill Country. Routes are well signed with orange caution tape, yellow arrows, and frequent confidence markers so navigation is not required at intersections.
Support and rules: multiple full aid stations provide drinks and food with no more than about 3.5 miles between supports. The event is cupless so participants must carry their own cup or bottle; collapsible cups may be sold at packet pickup. The race enforces Leave No Trace policies; littering can lead to disqualification. All races are chip timed with ankle-mounted chips that must be worn on the ankle.
