Atlanta JE Dunn Hammer Down Road Race : October 17, 2026
The Atlanta JE Dunn Hammer Down Road Race is held annually; the 2026 edition is the 16th running. The event takes place at 2555 Cumberland Parkway SE, Atlanta, with the course starting and finishing at JE Dunn’s office on Cumberland Parkway. The course is USATF certified and is a Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
The event offers multiple race formats and a hill climb competition. A timed quarter mile segment called the King/Queen of the Hill begins on Bert Adams Drive and reaches the top of Mount Wilkerson Parkway; additional timing is used on the course to record the hill climb.
