Course, logistics, and support

The route begins at the north end of the parking lot and moves counter-clockwise around ball fields before entering the park trail system. Key trail segments include the Evergreen Trail, Connector, Hickory Connector, Hickory Trail loop, powerlines up to Hot Dog Hill, and the Oak Trail, finishing back at the parking lot for a 10-mile finish. Aid is available at stations around miles 2.5, 4.5, 6, and 8.2; stations offer water and electrolytes, with food supplied near mile 6. Southside Park has ample parking for participants and spectators; organizers encourage carpooling or ride share to reduce vehicle traffic. Volunteer roles include aid stations, registration, parking, course marshals, and logistics. Award categories include Overall and Masters places, non-binary/open podium, and three-deep age groups.
