Cobb County 5K benefiting Make A Wish Georgia
The Cobb County 5K is an annual community running event held at Glover Park at Historic Marietta Square in Marietta, GA. Proceeds are donated to Make A Wish Georgia to support wish granting for Cobb County children with critical illnesses. The event is a Peachtree Road Race qualifying event.
Race offerings include the following distances:
- 5K timed
- 5K untimed walk or run
- 1K fun run for children
Registration opens in November 2025. Published entry fees include a timed 5K, an untimed 5K, and a 1K fun run. A Phantom Runner donation option is available for those who cannot attend in person; phantom registrants must submit a registration form and will receive a race t-shirt that is mailed after the event.
This edition introduces the 1K fun run for small children. Walk up registration is available on race day. The event is planned to proceed unless conditions are deemed hazardous for participants and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
