Hamden Fest Half Marathon and 5K
The Hamden Fest Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Town Center Park, Hamden, Connecticut, on June 6, 2026. The event comprises two road races that include sections of grass and paved trail running. A relay option for the half marathon is new for 2026.

Race services include chip timing, race day parking, and an event T-shirt when ordered before the organizer’s shirt deadline of June 1. Half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal. The half marathon course is USATF certified (CT24002JRG).
On-course support for the half marathon includes six aid stations spaced roughly every 2 to 2.5 miles, offering Ucan energy gels, sports drink, and water; four of those stations will have portable toilets. The 5K course will have one aid station near the halfway point.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at the site and on race morning. Parking is available at Town Center Park; entrants are asked to enter via Hamden Middle School and not to use the library parking lot. Pets are not permitted in the registration area, at the start, or on the course.
Awards are given to overall top finishers by gender categories and to age group top finishers for both the 5K and the half marathon. A portion of event proceeds will benefit Hamden Community Services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
