Hamburg Bookworm Bolt 5K Run/Walk
The Hamburg Bookworm Bolt is a community road event held on September 26 at Hamburg Community Park, Franklin St. and Park Road, Hamburg PA. The program includes a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk open to all ages.
The 5K offers awards for First Place overall male and female and for the top two finishers male and female in these age groups: 17 & under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The Fun Run/Walk is open to all ages and participants receive a button.
Entry fees are stated as follows: the 5K is $25 if registered by September 14 and includes a guaranteed shirt; after September 14 and on race day the 5K fee is $30 with shirts available while supplies last. The Fun Run/Walk fee is $15. Online registration closes at midnight on September 24.
The event supports the Hamburg Public Library. Registration can be completed online or by mail with payment payable to Hamburg Public Library. The event materials include a standard participant waiver and a race application form. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
