Hamburg Bookworm Bolt 5K Run/Walk
The Hamburg Bookworm Bolt is a community run/walk held on September 26, 2026, at Hamburg Community Park in Hamburg, PA. The event supports the Hamburg Public Library and takes place at the park intersection of Franklin Street and Park Road.
The program includes two distances and options for participants:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, open to all ages; fun run participants receive a button
The 5K offers awards for first place overall male and female and for the top two finishers (male and female) in these age groups: 17 & under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Entry fees are listed by category. The 5K costs $25 if registered by September 14 and includes a guaranteed shirt; after September 14 and on race day the fee is $30 and shirts are available while supplies last. The fun run fee is $15. Online registration is available and closes on September 24.
