Format and on-site details
This is the fourth year of the scavenger hunt. Participants receive a list of riddles and questions to find locations across West Reading and Wyomissing and earn raffle tickets for visiting those locations. Teams are informal - the event can be done individually or in groups, and participants may pair up at the start. Runners have exactly one hour to visit as many locations as they can to collect raffle tickets. Participants who return after the event cutoff must hand their raffle tickets over to the Grinch; only the raffle tickets each person earned may be returned.
Prizes include raffle items and awards for best Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus costumes. Each participant receives a custom Fleet Feet West Reading holiday ear warmer headband. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Bethany Lutheran Church food pantry, and non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at the start.
