HalloWine 5K
The HalloWine 5K is a Halloween event held on October 31, 2026 at a winery in Marietta, South Carolina (507 Beaver Dam Road). This is the fifth annual running of the event at the winery, which is described as being in the Upstate of South Carolina with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Costumes are not required but are strongly recommended; a costume contest with prizes is part of the event.
Packet pickup happens on race morning at the check-in table near the start/finish, and bibs are assigned at check-in. Parking is available at the winery; organizers recommend arriving early to park and check in and suggest carpooling when possible. Registration opens July 1 and closes July 21; the registration fee is $35.
On-course support includes water stations and snacks. Every registration includes race entry with chip timing, a glass of wine after the race, a goody bag, and a T-shirt and medal for participants. Furry friends on leashes are welcome, and children can participate or ride in decorated strollers. Age group categories include 20 and under and 21 and over. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine; in cases of lightning or severe weather the organizers may delay the event. All registrations are final and nonrefundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
