About the race
Hallo-Thanks-Mas Dash is a themed running event in San Diego on October 4, 2026, held at Embarcadero Marina Park South (200 Marina Park Way). The event offers multiple distances on out-and-back courses that share park paths.
Distances:
- 5K
- 10K (the 5K route run twice)
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
Courses are not closed to the public; participants should be considerate of other park and path users. On-course support includes water stations and clearly marked turns using chalk, signs, and flags. Bib pickup takes place at the start area and participants are asked to wear their bib on the front of their shirt for timing and photo tracking. A gear check is available at the registration tent; participants must bring their own bag.
Parking is available at Embarcadero Marina Park South with on-site parking charged at $2.50 per hour between 10am and 8pm, and additional metered parking in the area. Awards include 1st place medals for the overall male and female in each distance. Race results and photos are sent by email the day after the event and photos are provided free of charge.
