Donut Dash 5K
Donut Dash takes place on October 3, 2026 at Kit Carson Park, El Arroyo Picnic Area, 3333 Bear Valley Pkwy, Escondido. The event includes a 5K loop course that combines sidewalks, trails, rolling park views, and public art sculptures. Parking is inside Kit Carson Park.
The event program includes a finish line festival with a free donut bar that will feature products from local bakeries, games, vendors, and refreshments. Event registration includes a finisher's medal, one on-course aid station, and official race results. Strollers are allowed on the 5K course. Road or trail shoes are acceptable and dogs are not allowed on the course.

- Kids Dash one quarter mile loop
The Donut Mile is run on a quarter mile loop near the El Arroyo picnic area by the duck pond. Participants must eat and swallow a regular glazed or cake donut to begin each lap. The Donut Mile is limited to 100 participants, runs in four waves of 25, and requires a separate registration. Minimum age to enter the Donut Mile is 13 years.
Packet pickup will offer one pre-race option; details will be announced within 60 days of the event. Pre-race pickup is not required and someone else may pick up a packet on behalf of a registrant. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
