PMASD Carabao 5K : October 4, 2026
The PMASD Carabao 5K is a community road race hosted in South Bay, San Diego at J Street Marina. The course is a flat 5 km (3.11 mile) route; a detailed route map is listed as coming soon. Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Roadrunner Sports, 2015 Birch Rd Suite #512, Chula Vista, CA 91915.
The event is presented by the Philippine Medical Association of San Diego, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit composed of Filipino American physicians and advanced practice providers. The race emphasizes heart health and physical activity as part of cardiovascular disease prevention. Materials on the event note that cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death and that Filipino Americans experience heart disease at higher rates than the general U.S. population.
