Race Information
The US Road Running event in Richmond, Kentucky, takes place at White Hall State Historic Site. This organized running event offers participants a choice of three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All distances utilize an out-and-back course format. The 5K and 10K participants use a specific route where the out-and-back section measures 1.56 miles in total. Those running the 5K complete this loop twice, while 10K runners complete it four times. The Half Marathon follows a different course with a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop, which must be completed six times to reach the full distance.
The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the event, finishing shortly before the start. Registration must be completed online in advance through RunSignup as there is no option for on-site registration. All finishers receive a medal for completing their chosen distance. Part of the US Road Running Race Series, the event also features a best costume competition where participants are encouraged to wear costumes, though it is not a requirement for participation.
