US Road Running - Richmond

The US Road Running event in Richmond, Kentucky, offers a series of road races held at the White Hall State Historic Site. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and is open to the public without a club membership requirement. All participants must register through the designated online platform before the event begins, as there is no registration available at the venue.

Participants can choose from three distinct race distances:

  • 5K: An out-and-back course completed twice.
  • 10K: An out-and-back course completed four times.
  • Half Marathon: An out-and-back course completed six times.

The 5K and 10K routes utilize a 1.56-mile out-and-back circuit, while the Half Marathon utilizes a 2.18-mile out-and-back circuit. All courses have a combined time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the race, starting 30 minutes before the event and concluding 10 minutes before the start.

Finisher medals are awarded to all participants upon completion of their race. While not mandatory, the event includes a costume contest where runners may participate in themed dress. Awards are based on series points and performance categories. Parking is available near the starting line at the White Hall Shrine Road location.
