Kentucky Hands & Voices SuperHEARo 5K
The ninth annual Kentucky Hands & Voices SuperHEARo 5K takes place at the White Hall State Historic Site in Richmond, Kentucky. This event features both in-person and virtual participation options, allowing participants to join from various locations. The in-person race utilizes a course consisting of paved trails and road surfaces within the historic grounds.
Participants have the following distance options:
- 5K (3.1 miles) – A chip-timed run or walk on paved surfaces.
- 1.5 Mile Fun Run/Walk – An untimed event focused on participation.
- Virtual 5K – A 3.1-mile option for those completing the distance at their own preferred location.
The event permits strollers and dogs on fixed-length leashes. Participants are encouraged to wear superhero costumes during their run or walk. For the timed 5K, awards are provided to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from 10 and under to 65 and older.
