Event Details
The Kentucky Hands & Voices SuperHEARo 5K is a 9th annual event. It is held in Richmond, Kentucky at White Hall State Historic Site. The event takes place on May 16, 2026.
Available Distances
Participants can choose from three event formats:
- 5K
- 1.5 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K
The 5K is a timed event and the 1.5 Mile Fun Run/Walk is a non-timed event.
Additional Information
Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero. Awards will be given for top finishers and for costumes. Awards include the Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers, the Top 3 Male and Female finishers in multiple age groups, and prizes for Best Dressed Male and Female Superheroes. There is also a prize for the Best Dressed Wonder Pet.
A soft-style race t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by May 1, 2026. After that date, shirts are available on a limited basis. Race medals are awarded to the top three finishers in various age categories.
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at Surge Screenprinting and on race day at the event site before the start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
