Event
The Viking race takes place on February 7, 2026, at Shamrock Park in Venice, Florida (3900 Shamrock Dr, Venice, FL 34293). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 (Half Marathon)
- 26.2 (Marathon)
All runners must register online through RunSignup. There is no on-site registration.
Course and logistics
The courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K/10K course is a 1.56 mile loop; the 5K runs the loop once and the 10K twice. The half marathon and marathon use a 1.64 mile loop; the half marathon runs it four times and the marathon eight times. The course surface is a mix of concrete and asphalt. The start is located on the path behind the Nature Center. Bathrooms are located in the Nature Center. The overall course time limit is 6 hours.
