Viking 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon - Venice, FL
This event is a series of road races held at Shamrock Park, Venice, Florida (3900 Shamrock Dr). Registration is handled online through RunSignup; on-site registration is not available. Packet pickup is offered shortly before the race and closes shortly before the start. Bathrooms are located in the Nature Center. The race start is on the path behind the Nature Center.
The courses are out-and-back routes on a surface that mixes concrete and asphalt. A six hour course time limit applies.
Distances:
- 5K (out-and-back one time, 3.11 miles)
- 10K (out-and-back two times)
- Half Marathon (out-and-back four times, 13.1 miles)
- Marathon (out-and-back eight times, 26.2 miles)
