The Wellen Park Half Marathon & 5K takes place on March 21, 2026, in Downtown Wellen Park, Venice, FL. Course and logistics
Both courses are described as flat, fully paved, and clearly marked. The half marathon will have aid stations supplying water, Gatorade, and GU energy gels approximately every 2 miles, public restrooms near mile 10, and 10K split timing recorded. The half marathon has a course time limit of 3 hours 30 minutes; participants finishing outside this limit will not receive an official time. The 5K has a water stop at about mile 1.55.
Walkers, strollers, and well-behaved leashed dogs are permitted; leashes must be no longer than 6 ft and not retractable, and participants must clean up after their pets. Awards include overall and age-group prizes for male and female divisions, and all finishers receive a finisher medal. There are no refunds for this race; registration insurance is offered at checkout. Packet pickup is available on the days before the race and on race day.
