Wellen Park Half Marathon & 5K, Venice FL
The Wellen Park Half Marathon & 5K takes place on March 21, 2026, with the start and finish in Downtown Wellen Park at Solis Hall, 19745 Wellen Park Blvd, Venice, FL. The event includes the following distances:

Both courses are described as flat, fully paved, and clearly marked. The half marathon course notes periodic aid stations with water, Gatorade, and GU energy gels approximately every two miles. Public restrooms are available near the 10 mile mark on the half marathon course. Split timing at 10K will be recorded and shared with participants. The half marathon has a course time limit of three hours thirty minutes; participants finishing outside that limit will not receive an official time. USATF certification is listed as forthcoming for the half marathon course.
Awards and finisher medals are provided for both events. Award categories include overall winners and veteran and master divisions; age group awards are listed for multiple age bands. Half marathon entrants must be at least 13 years old. A portion of proceeds and all donations will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast.
Logistics noted by the organizer include packet pickup on the days before the race and on race day, plentiful downtown parking, and policies allowing walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs with leash and clean up requirements.
