US Road Running - Lansing
The US Road Running event in Grand Ledge, Michigan, features inclusive distances for different preferences and experience levels. Participants can choose from three distinct running events held at the park terrain on East Mt Hope Highway. This race series is part of the US Road Running series, which allows participants to earn series points and awards.
The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
The course layouts are established as out-and-back routes. The 5K and 10K courses utilize a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners in the 5K complete this loop twice, while runners in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon utilizes a separate course with a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop that must be completed six times. All participants are subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted at the event site shortly before the start. The event also features a costume contest, and all participants receive a finisher medal after completing their respective distances. Parking is available near the starting area.
