Event overview
The All Paws on the Ground race is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Uncle John's Cider Mill in Saint Johns, Michigan. The event is organized by Giving Paws as part of the Dog Daze of Summer activities on the farm. The program includes a 5K and a Young Pups Kids' Dash (not timed). Dogs on a leash are allowed on the course.
Race details and onsite activities
The 5K course will take place within the Uncle John's Cider Mill farm. Event activities listed for Dog Daze of Summer include vendors, a family-friendly scavenger hunt, a pup cup station, and an UPDog Frisbee Challenge with Leashed Favorite Dog Club. Registrations for the 5K and the kids' dash include a race t-shirt, sponsor giveaways, and access to event activities. Participation medals are provided to Young Pups entrants under 18 and to fur baby pups. Chip timed runners and walkers will receive medals for the top three men and women in six age categories; there will not be a formal awards ceremony.
Registration and fees
The base entry price is $30; the price increases after July 30, 2026. Shirts are guaranteed for entries completed through July 30, subject to supply. Families registering three or more people at the same time receive a $5 per person discount. The race is a fundraiser for the organizer's nonprofit agency and entries are nonrefundable.
