2026 All Paws on the Ground 5K
The All Paws on the Ground 5K takes place on August 15, 2026 at Uncle John's Cider Mill in Saint Johns, Michigan. The event is presented by Giving Paws as part of the Dog Daze of Summer activities on the cider mill property.
The program includes a Young Pups Kids' Dash that is not timed, a full 5K for runners and walkers, and registration with bib and shirt pickup. Race registrations include a race t-shirt, sponsor giveaways and access to the on-site Dog Daze activities. Shirts are guaranteed for entries completed by July 30, 2026; additional shirts will be available while supplies last. Families who register three or more people at the same time receive a five dollar per person discount.
Dogs on a leash are welcome to participate with their human companions. Organizers may ask any dog that is having difficulty to visit another time. Medals will be given to all Young Pups Kids' Dash participants under 18 and to fur baby pups. There will also be medals for chip timed runners and walkers for the top three men and women across six age categories. Medals are distributed after the race rather than at a formal awards ceremony.
This event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit agency. There are no refunds. Organizers note that Michigan weather may affect planned activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
