Back to School 5K : Danville, Kentucky
The Back to School 5K is scheduled for August 1, 2026 at Millennium Park, 1000 Cunningham Drive, Danville, KY 40422. The event features a main 5K race and a separate kids fun run or walk of one mile. Distances include:

- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run Walk
Registration details are provided for each event with set opening and closing dates and an entry fee. The 5K has a registration fee of $30.00. The kids fun run has a registration fee of $20.00. The 5K is chip timed and registration includes a custom race t shirt and a custom finisher medal for participants.
A school supply drive is part of the event. Participants and spectators are encouraged to bring items such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, backpacks, folders, and glue sticks for donation to local schools and organizations in Boyle County.
Awards will be given to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups 0 to 9, 10 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
