US Road Running - Augusta
The US Road Running Augusta event features multiple race distances held on out-and-back courses within the local park system. Participants can choose between different running distances conducted on paved paths starting from the trailhead near Ann Boardman Park.
Available distances for the event include:
- 5K (one lap of the out-and-back course)
- 10K (two laps of the out-and-back course)
- Half Marathon (four laps of the out-and-back course)
The event is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing runners to earn points towards the overall series standings. While there is no requirement to dress up, participants are encouraged to wear costumes during their run.
All registration must be completed online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration. Runners are required to pick up their packets starting 30 minutes before the event begins. A strictly enforced course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in place for all distances. Every finisher receives a themed medal upon completion of their race.
