Run For Hope 5K is the 7th annual walk and run hosted by the Augusta Dream Center in Augusta, Georgia. The event comprises a 5K run, a 5K walk, and a 100-yard Kiddie Dash that takes place at the Augusta Dream Center site.
The course begins and ends at the Augusta Dream Center, 3364 Peach Orchard Road, and passes through South Augusta neighborhoods served by the center's programs. The Augusta Dream Center is described as a nonprofit serving individuals and families with services such as food, clothing, counseling, healthcare resources, and youth enrichment.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet Sports on Friday, September 11. Race day registration is available on September 12. Registration opens March 24 and closes August 31. Registration fees are listed as $45 for the 5K events and $10 for the Kiddie Dash. T shirts are guaranteed for participants who register before August 30; extra shirts will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
The 5K includes awards for Top Male and Top Female and age group awards by the listed categories: 12 and under, 13-19, ten year increments, and 60 and over.
