US Road Running - Spokane
The US Road Running event in Spokane, Washington, features multiple distance options held on a recreational trail system. The competition takes place at the entrance to the Ben-Burr trail, with designated parking available at the nearby Disc Golf Course. All participants must register in advance through the online platform as there is no registration available at the race site.
Distances available for this event include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The 5K and 10K courses follow an out-and-back route measuring 1.56 miles per lap. Participants in the 5K complete this loop twice, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon uses a different out-and-back circuit measuring 2.18 miles per lap, requiring six total laps to complete the distance.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants. Every runner who crosses the finish line receives a finisher medal. While not required, participants have the option to compete in costume for a best costume award presented at the beginning of the event.
