ROGUE//RIVER in SPOKANE, WA, September 19, 2026
ROGUE//RIVER is an outdoor trail event organized by Phase One Missions in Spokane, Washington. The event offers multiple route options and a self-navigated long loop that uses a GPX track on Gaia GPS.
Distances
- 30 mile loop around Riverside State Park
- 9 mile run out and back
- 9 mile ruck out and back
The 30 mile course follows the Spokane River, gains elevation along ridge lines, and uses a variety of surfaces including rocks, roots, gravel, asphalt, hard-packed and soft-packed dirt. Entrants receive a GPX track for self navigation. The organizer notes the possibility of encountering wildlife on trail.
Course support includes five semi-stocked aid stations with Tailwind Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond C30 energy gels, 1st Phorm protein bars and energy drinks, plus water and additional snacks. Aid stations and approximate mile markers:
- Seven Mile Trailhead at 4.3 miles (bathroom)
- Carlson Trailhead at 9.8 miles (bathroom)
- Pine Bluff at 15.65 miles
- Marchand Trailhead at 19 miles
- Military Cemetery Trailhead at 24 miles (bathroom)
All aid stations are vehicle accessible and crews are encouraged to support runners. Drop bags are allowed at Pine Bluff. Participants must attend the pre race brief and are expected to be largely self sufficient. Required items include a Discover Pass for vehicles accessing state park trailheads and a charged battery for phone. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet in Kendall Yards the day before and at the race location on race day. Participants who finish receive a Phase One training tee and a completion patch.
