ROGUE RIVER : Spokane, WA
ROGUE RIVER is a trail event organized by Phase One Missions at Riverside State Park near Spokane. The event offers three distance options:
- 30 Miler Run
- 9 Miler Run
- 9 Miler Ruck
The main course is a self-navigated 30-mile loop around Riverside State Park. Participants will receive a GPX track to view on Gaia GPS during race week. The route follows the Spokane River, climbs along ridge lines, and returns to the river. Trail surfaces include rocks, roots, gravel, asphalt, hard-packed dirt, and soft-packed dirt.
Five semi-stocked aid stations are placed along the course and list these locations: Seven Mile Trailhead (4.3 miles, with bathroom), Carlson Trailhead (9.8 miles, with bathroom), Pine Bluff (15.65 miles), Marchand Trailhead (19 miles), and Military Cemetery Trailhead (24 miles, with bathroom). Aid stations provide Tailwind Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond C30 Energy Gels, 1st Phorm protein bars and energy drinks, water, and various snacks. Drop bags are allowed at Pine Bluff. Crews are encouraged to access aid stations by vehicle.
Participants must attend the pre-race briefing and are expected to be largely self-sufficient. Required items include a vehicle Discover Pass for state park trailheads and a phone charging battery. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Fleet Feet in Kendall Yards and the morning of the event at the race location. There are no refunds at this time.
