About the race
Raging River Relay is a one day women's relay hosted by StrongHer Run Club on the Centennial Trail in Spokane, WA. The event on Sunday, September 13, 2026 covers 50 miles shared by teams of 2 to 5 women. The course is divided into ten legs and each teammate runs multiple legs in sequence, handing off at designated exchange zones.
Exchange zones are central to the event and are described as places for cheering, cowbells, and handoffs between runners. Teams cross the same finish line together and receive medals, shirts, and team photos at the finish. A post race patio celebration is held at Emrys Beer & Mead Works where food and drinks are available for purchase.
Pre race activities for 2026 include a yin yoga session after packet pickup at Fleet Feet Spokane in Kendall Yards. Professional race photography by Heirloom Narratives Photo is included with registration. Every registration also includes a race shirt and a finisher medal.
The relay is open to women of all paces and welcomes first time relay participants; solo registrants can be matched to teams. Registration for 2026 is sold out and a waitlist is maintained. The event emphasizes team exchanges, shared distance, and the community that forms at each exchange zone. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
