Event overview
The Hero Hustle 5K takes place on May 16, 2026 in DeBary, Florida at 398 S. Shell Rd, 32713. The main race is a 5K course of 3.1 miles that runs through surrounding DeBary neighborhoods. The 5K is professionally chipped and timed. Custom diecast finisher medals are provided to all finishers of the 5K, and the first 600 registered participants are guaranteed a custom race medal, race bib, and race shirt. Awards will be given to the overall top three finishers, to the top male and female master, and to the top three finishers in each listed age group for males and females. The event includes a post-race party area with water slides, a bounce house, games, a DJ, an adult beverage for adults, and snacks for children.

Packet pick-up is available Friday, May 15 (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm) at the DBK Home Office, with additional packet pick-up available on race day. Parking is recommended in the industrial area behind DBK off Springview Commerce Drive. Entries are non-refundable and transfers are not allowed. The event is held rain or shine.
