Pat & Ed Northey 5K and 10K River Run
The Pat & Ed Northey River Run is an annual athletic event held in DeBary, Florida. Managed by the Rotary Club of DeBary, Deltona & Orange City, this 10th-edition event takes place within Gemini Springs Park and serves the local community by supporting youth programs.
The course is located on the Spring to Spring trail. It is a flat, down-and-back route that guides participants through a shaded canopy of Florida Oaks decorated with Spanish moss, vines, and resurrection ferns.
Participants can choose from the following available distances:
- 5 km (Run and Walk)
- 10 km (Run and Walk)
Running and walking participants receive a custom race shirt and a finisher's medal. Following the event, festive beverages are provided for those who complete their distance. Awards are issued to top finishers, including overall and masters categories for males and females, as well as the top performers within specific age groups.
Logistical arrangements include early packet pickup available on the Friday before the event at Advent Health Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City.
